THE OTTAWA COMMUNITY RESPONSE TO HOARDING COALITION
The Ottawa Community Response to Hoarding Coalition was formed in July 2003, after the first workshop on Hoarding in June 2003 at which Dr. Randy Frost was the keynote speaker and 220 representatives from community organizations gathered to begin learning about this complex emerging issue. The OCRHC is comprised of organizations covering a wide cross section of the services most often required to respond to these challenging situations. The mandate of the Ottawa Community Response to Hoarding is to act as an advocate for solutions to hoarding in Ottawa and to develop programs and services to deal with the issue of hoarding. For more information call VHA @ 613-238-8420 or BIRCHALL CONSULTING @ 613-492-0700.
